Delete your account

1. 1Open the Koapath or Koapath Coach app and sign in.
2. 2Go to Profile, then Account.
3. 3Select Delete account and confirm the reason when prompted.

• Billing stops. Any active coaching subscription is cancelled and any pending payment is voided before the account is closed. If we cannot reach the payment provider to do this, the deletion fails rather than closing your account while billing could continue.
• Your account is disabled and you can no longer sign in.
• A coach profile is unpublished and disappears from coach discovery.
• Your coach loses access to your profile, plans, progress, photos and chat.

Within 30 days of closure, your personal data is deleted from our live systems. That includes your profile, your health and fitness information, your measurements, your progress photos, your coaching plans and your chat history. Deleted data then ages out of our backups on our rotation schedule.

We keep the minimum payment and payout records that tax, accounting, anti-fraud and card-scheme rules require us to keep. These are access-restricted, and we detach or pseudonymise your profile data from them where we can. We cannot delete them on request without breaking records we are legally obliged to hold.

Email team@koapath.com from the email address on the account, and ask us to delete it. We will verify that you own the account before we process the request, and we will confirm by email when it is done.

We do this by hand precisely because we cannot let an unverified request close someone else's account.
