Terms of Service

By creating a Koapath account or using either Koapath app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the apps.

Koapath is a marketplace and a management tool. It connects trainees with independent private fitness coaches and provides the tools those two people use to manage plans, progress and messages.

There are two apps: Koapath for trainees, and Koapath Coach for coaches. These terms apply to both.

• Koapath is not a medical provider. We do not provide medical, nutritional or clinical advice. What a coach gives you is general fitness guidance, not medical treatment.
• Koapath is not your coach. Coaches are independent providers. They are not our employees or our agents, we do not deliver the coaching ourselves, and we are not a party to the coaching relationship beyond running the platform it happens on.
• Talk to a doctor first. You should consult a physician before starting any exercise or nutrition programme, and you especially should if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury. You follow fitness guidance at your own risk.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Koapath.
• You are responsible for your account and your sign-in credentials. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to your account.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — particularly your health information, because your coach relies on it to keep you safe.
• One person per account. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your credentials.

You agree to give accurate information about your health and your goals, to follow the safety guidance your coach gives you, and to treat your coach respectfully. Tell your coach if your health circumstances change.

You additionally agree to:

• give truthful profile information, genuine certifications and transparent pricing — no invented credentials and no misleading claims;
• coach professionally and lawfully, and not give medical advice you are not qualified to give;
• respect trainee privacy, and use a trainee's health data only to coach that trainee;
• comply with our content and conduct rules.

A trainee's health data is given to you in confidence. Misusing it, or sharing it outside the app, is a serious breach of these Terms and may also breach data protection law.

Do not use Koapath unlawfully. In particular, no harassment, no spam, no abuse, no scraping, no reverse engineering, no circumventing the store payment system, no posting unsafe or extreme content, and nothing that interferes with the service for other people. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Koapath offers an auto-renewing platform subscription for trainees and one for coaches, sold as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store and managed with RevenueCat. The following terms apply to those subscriptions.

• The title, duration and price of each subscription are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency where the App Store supports it.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown for the next period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription covering the same entitlement.
• Refunds for these subscriptions are handled by Apple, under Apple's policies. We cannot issue them ourselves.

A platform subscription never includes an individual coach's fee. Coaching is paid for separately, as described next.

• When you buy a plan from an individual coach, you are paying for a service delivered by a human being. Stripe processes that payment on Koapath's behalf.
• The app shows the total price and currency before you confirm. We never substitute a different price for the coach's current published price.
• For recurring coaching plans, the charge repeats at the interval shown to you before purchase, until you cancel.
• You can cancel a coaching plan in the app. Unless an immediate cancellation or refund is required, your access normally continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Coaching refunds are handled by Koapath support and returned through Stripe to your original payment method. They may be full or partial, according to the stated policy and applicable law. A full refund ends the coaching engagement and stops any future renewal.
• If you raise a chargeback or dispute, access and coach payouts may be paused while the payment provider reviews it. Please do not seek recovery for the same charge from both Koapath and your bank.
• Prices may change with notice. A change applies only to future billing periods.

• To be paid, a coach must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and stay eligible for payouts. Stripe may ask for identity, business or bank information, and may restrict an account under its own connected-account terms.
• Koapath deducts the commission disclosed to the coach and schedules the remainder for transfer on the payout schedule shown in the app. Processing fees are borne as set out in the coach's commercial agreement.
• A payout may be delayed or held for verification, refunds, disputes, suspected fraud, provider restrictions, or legal obligations.
• A scheduled release is not escrow, and it is not a guarantee that a bank payout cannot be delayed or reversed.

• You keep ownership of what you submit — your transformation photos, your messages, your logs. You grant Koapath a limited licence to host and display that content solely in order to operate the service for you and your coach.
• Coaches keep the rights to their own plan and library content. Koapath hosts it to deliver it to that coach's clients.
• We do not use your content to train models, and we do not publish it.

The service is provided as is, without warranties. We do not promise particular fitness results, that any given coach will be available, or that the service will be free of errors.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Koapath is not liable for the conduct, advice, qualifications or outcomes of independent coaches, nor for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Koapath in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You can stop using Koapath and delete your account at any time — see the account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law. Closing your account ends any active billing.

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Koapath after a change means you accept it. If you do not accept it, you can close your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
